Apart from a few iPod's, I do not fit your stereotype category. It really has nothing to do with hatred towards capitalism, but more towards the idea that I am suppose to bend over to ideas and practices pushed by various ulterior motives. I LIKE that I can pop the hood of my car to put in sprinkler fluid, check oil and install a better battery.
Also not a fan of demonization/hatred nor idolization/hype build-up; the cliché that Microsoft is evil, that Adobe is lazy, that Apple is the best thing since [Insert list of positive superlatives here] sliced bread. The world is not black and white but full of nuances, I want to see the full spectrum and not just whatever colors Apple decides are pretty. Since I already don't buy their products, at least I can recommend alternatives to those who would. :) /Casper On May 20, 4:31 pm, Rakesh <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi guys, > > I've been thinking about the recent Apple controversies and have come > to the conclusion that (in this forum at least) it says more about the > people buying the products than Apple itself. > > So here are some statements about Apple and Steve Jobs, please tell me > if I am wrong: > > 1.
