It was so for me before 9/11; in any case, this very same argument could
be used to point out that, out of millions of travelers, there's just a
handful of people complaining.
For the pleasure, it's a matter of tastes. Basically, I love flying; I
love boats too, but four days on a kitsch and crowded floating building
would annoy me too. The flights I really enjoy are those connecting
flights to hubs, especially those on small, two-props airplanes jumping
over the Alps. Unfortunately, as I said before, in such short flights
the airport security overhead is intolerable.
