If you want to read books or articles in PDF, then you need 10".

I'm 99% certain that Apple will stick with a 10" for now.  As usual,
it will be lighter and possibly somewhat smaller.

I'm pretty sure Google will enable that (Apple has that, too).  Now on
the iPad, a lot of developers go for an iPad-only version so that they
can charge you twice (once for the iPad and once for your iPhone).
Since Google seems to - one way or another - encourage ad-supported
apps, you may see more universal apps on Android (at least that's what
they're called on iOS).
