According to my county's leading price index: - Samsung i5500 (Galaxy 5) is $206. - Samsung i5700 (Galaxy Spica) is $319. - Samsung i5800 (Galaxy 3) is $339. - Samsung i9000 (Galaxy S) is $602. - HTC Desire (slightly newer than N1) is $601. - HTC Desire Z (keyboard) is $610. - HTC Desire HD (big screen) is $730. - Apple iPhone 3G 8GB is $770. - Apple iPhone 3GS 8GB is $870. - Apple iPhone 4 16GB is $1060 Everything above is with 25% sales tax included, unlocked and uncuffed. There are of course also subsidized plans, though no longer than 6 months where-after the carrier is required to unlock and port your number to another if you so desire. > Although I did have to download the TomTom app and sync from my computer > last week because it was 2 gigs and I didn't have enough room on my iPhone > to do a download/replace. Curious - is there such a thing as a 2 gig app on > Android? The largest I've purchased and installed was CoPilot Live, believe it was a little over 1GB with maps. It get's tricky to know for sure, as the application itself installs on internal native NAND while the map data is downloaded post-install to SD card. Storage on Android is a two tier system. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
