I don't say that I think Java is getting obsolete. But rather that it's
getting an increasing reputation of being out of data - in public.
Regardless its technical merits.

In some OSS circles Java is even considered dangerous ! Due to all those
security exploits. And again, bad PR alone did damage Java. Probably more
than the exploits themselves. :-)
