I agree the whole thing has been handled not as well as it should have
been. The problems with the timetable were actually apparent six months
ago, and marketing, planning and management action should have been
taken then.

Getting bug reports in is a needed contribution, agreed. I am only just
getting back into the habit after the outrageous treatment of a bug
report in 2003.
