Wow, now I have yet another reason why I've avoided ThinkPads all of these
years.

It is my understanding that there are utility programs out there that will
let you re-assign a control key or Alt key to be a Windows key.  However,
you should know that there has been problems with getting these utilities to
work.

IBM ThinkPad series 40 but I think all of the IBM ThinkPad computers don't
