Agreed, but with it happening with eloquence is very bad since almost
everyone running jaws uses it on a regular basis. I know there is a work
around and and happy there is. I'm just upset that FS seems to feel it's
acceptable to release it like that instead of fixing it correctly. I know,
the SMA rules and the product has to go out the door so FS can make money
this year.

Dear Rick

I had exactly the same problems with the Real Speak voices with Jaws 8. You
are right it is very unpleasant to listen to.
The problem was particularity unpleasant if at any time I refreshed the
screen with a Real Speak voice running in Jaws. The problem did not appear
on my laptop so it does not reproduce consistently even with similar
software setups but if you are unlucky enough to get this effect it is a
real nuisance.

I resolved this by abandoning Real Speak and going back to Eloquence. This
problem re-emerging in Eloquence itself is quite disturbing. I think I'll
stick to Jaws 8 for the time being until all this is ironed out.

Regards

David Griffith

When does this Eloquence issue arise?
I'm using JAWS 9.0.399 and XP, without a problem.
