I want to thank everyone for their assistance with my problem with jaws and outlook express. Unfortunately, even the suggestions from freedom scientific haven't done any good. jaws is very finicky and chooses when it wants to work and when it doesn't. it is very frustrating. i will just have to check out my options for other email clients to see if I have better luck.
