I know, it is the strangest thing. My computer techy friend can't figure it out and neither can my sighted friend who does the configuring in jaws for me. how do i do a repair of jaws? i wonder if it has to do with being on a laptop using a wireless connection. yes, i've heard the same thing about other email clients, and i think i need to stick with OE.
