Vicky, I write in English and Spanish every day and many times. What I did was install Spanish as a second language in my English Windows computer and install also the Castillian-Spanish keyboard.
I use both keyboards and switch from one to the other by pressing the left Shift-Alt keys. While using the Spanish keyboard, I have all the accented vowels, the ñ, and symbols like ¡ ¿ y vocales con dieresis or umlaut, mostly ü in Spanish. I also need the English keyboard, the one I am most used to, for simbols that are not in the other one. The toggle Shift-Alt of the left side of the keyboard make it very easy and quick to switch when needed. While I use only Spanish, Microsoft offers many other languages you could install as secondary languages. For example, if I were to write the name Therese which is a French name but I am writing the document in English, can the correct accent marks be either added or automatically set to add any time I write the name? If I need to add them manually, how can I locate them on the keyboard? Not all of them are on the standard typing keyboard. Hope this makes sense. Thanks.
