By the way, the "send page to...." option defaults to plain text format, so I don't really think it'd be a security issue, if it were working.

Now I would like to know, because it's the sort of person I am, why his method works fine with its variant in Firefox, but not in iE. The option is there; it should be made to work one way or another. I suspect it's greyd out for both of us; I just don't know why. Fred, do check your program defaults and see if your e-mail client is set right. That's the most obvious solution. However, I know that on my end, this isn't the problem; Outlook is very definitely set as default e-mail programme. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Adrian Spratt Sent: December 7, 2017 11:52 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem sending articles Fred, Not a direct answer, but the method you use makes me concerned that private information is being disclosed about both you and the person you send the item to. Instead, I make a link of the webpage with alt-d, copy it with control-c, then paste it in an email that I send directly to the person. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Fred Adams Sent: Thursday, December 07, 2017 11:29 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem sending articles I am using IE 11 browser and when I am on a web site and reading an article that I would like to forward to some else I run into this problem. I press the alt key and then arrow up to send to and then arrow to send page or down arrow to send link and press enter key nothing happens. I have used this many times over the years just fine. I have not been able to find my problem. I am not talking about forwarding an email from the end box. Hope I have made myself clear. The problem must be in my settings. Are you talking about sending a link via e-mail? If so, this should open whatever e-mail client you are using. This works fine for me with Windows 10, Firefox ESR 52 and MS Outlook 2010. They all play nice together. Maybe check your applications in your browser. You should have one for "e-mail. Make sure it's something you actually have set up/are using. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Fred Adams Sent: December 7, 2017 9:45 AM To: post jaws-users Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem sending articles I am using W10 and jaws 2018 and I am not able to send articles or links from web site I am reading.
