I actually spent more time on trying to figure this out than I was
intending, even though I'm no longer an IE user, just because it bugged me
that it wasn't working. A lot of people reported similar issues years ago,
and the solution always seemed to be to set their default programmes. The
screen described always seems to be for Windows 7, though, and I believe
Microsoft streamlined it in Windows 10 (or maybe 8?), so there's no longer a
"custom" link or a checkbox to uncheck saying "use current e-mail
programme". So, I really don't know how to get this working, since my
default is set to outlook, and that should be all across Windows. So yes,
maybe something broken. iE is no longer the robust browser it once was. If
you find the copy/paste method annoying and cumbersome and you do this a
lot, maybe consider switching to Firefox, where this option definitely works
without a hitch.

Yes, that is what I have been doing but it is a little cumbersome. Thanks
much,

Hi Fred,
I use to use those same commands to send a web page or link. I tried it a
few times and it is not working. Something must have broken that feature.
What you can do when you are on the web page and you want to send it to
someone just do a aalt + D to highlight the link. Then do a ctrl + C to copy
the link to the clip board. Then open your email client and paste the link
in the body of the email and send it to the person you want. I know that is
not as easy as it was before but that is the only way I know to do this at
this time.
Mr. Ed

I am using IE 11 browser and when I am on a web site and reading an article
that I would like to forward to some else I run into this problem. I press
the alt key and then arrow up to send to and then arrow to send page or down
arrow to send link and press enter key nothing happens. I have used this
many times over the years just fine. I have not been able to find my
problem. I am not talking about forwarding an email from the end box. Hope
I have made myself clear. The problem must be in my settings.

Thanks much,

What browser are you using? Are you talking about sending a link via e-mail?
If so, this should open whatever e-mail client you are using. This works
fine for me with Windows 10, Firefox ESR 52 and MS Outlook 2010. They all
play nice together. Maybe check your applications in your browser. You
should have one for "e-mail. Make sure it's something you actually have set
up/are using.

I am using W10 and jaws 2018 and I am not able to send articles or links
from web site I am reading. When reading an article that I am reading would
like to forward to someone I press the alt key and arrow up to send to and
right arrow to send page or down arrow to send link and press enter but
nothing happens. Has something changed with W10 or do I have a setting
turned off some place. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much,
