Hi Vicki, In Windows 7, Internet Explorer11, you would not look for Windows Defender, , instead open Internet Explorer, then open the tools menu, and then internet options. Next, go to the advanced tab, and down arrow to security , then arrow to disable smart screen filter, and check it with the spacebar Tab to the okay button, and spacebar it to accept the changes and close the internet options dialogue. Finally, alt F4 to close Internet Explorer,then reopen it and try your download.
