Tom, I totally agree with you. I have been using Vista for over a year now and I love it! There were some minor issues at first, but once the manufacturers of some hardware products provided the drivers for Vista, it works great. I love the way Vista automatically does a lot of the work for you especially in recognizing networks and the installation of hardware and software. It has become a great operating system, but this is only my opinion.

Dave here. Personally, my expirences with Windows Vista have been absolutely horrid, mostly with program incompatibility issues, and hardware just not working with it. It did not like JAWS of any version, and for the month I had it, it was a non stop headache of one problem after another, including hardware crashes, program crashes, and a total inability to use my computer at all. I finally got fed up with it, and had my rehab officer send my machine back to Dell, and had XP SP3 put back on it. I just got it back a few weeks ago, and have had no problems at all since. And since my machine is a Dell Vostro 1500 with 2 GB of ram, a Intel Dual core processor, and a 145 GB hard drive, that was originally desinged to handle the rigors of Vista, XP SP3 runs on it like a top.
