Hey, Rick: No, Dell did not shortchange me. My machine is specifically desinged to handle Vista, and is one of the most turbocharged laptops that Dell sells, the Vostro 1500.
With a duo core processer and 2GB's of RAM, and a 145GB hard drive, it should eat Vista alive. As I said, I ran 3 different , Brand new copies of Vista Ultimate Home edition through it, and all the problems I had were exactly duplicated with each. The computer itself has been tested and retested by Dell's warranty shop, and there's not a single thing wrong with it, except for it not liking Vista. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Rick Harmon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, July 24, 2008 8:50 AM To: <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] RE I have a new laptop > As I said this is extremely rare to happen.
