JAWS can't read it because it'san image of text, rather than the text itself. if you have Open book, Kurzweil 10000, or some other recent OCR program, open the pdf with that instead. After a while, the pdf will be converted into readable text with that program.

I am using adobe 7. If anyone has any solutions or suggestions, I would be very grateful.
