Hi there, My point was that the greater than signs are there for a purpose i.e. to help a sighted reader. Now, it doesn't take long for screen reader users to make the appropriate change in the dictionary but of course, if the correspondence in question is purely aimed at vi people than it makes sense to take them out. It is my view that accessibility works both ways and sometime some vi friends forget this important principle.
