Hi Flor,

Yes I am saving the changes. This is really wierd. I went into four
documents and made changes, then went back into the same documents an hour
later and the settings were differenn than what I had saved just prior. The
way I'm saving the changes is when I alt + F4 out of the document and Jaws
asks if I would like to save the changes, I select Yes and press enter/space
bar. Maybe, I should press control + S and try that approach. If anyone
has other suggestions I am wide open for them. Thanks Flor. Take care.

Mike,

Are you saving the files again after you change the zoom settings etc.? I'm
not sure if that would work, though, because the files were set to the
specific view menu settings - the file template, if you like - when they
were originally composed and formatted.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Why are document settings changing?

    Hi All,

Has anybody else run into this problem? I like to have my settings for my
documents set in print view and the zoom set at 75%. After a few days I
will go back to particular documents in My Documents, open a document, go to
the view menu and the settings are changed to normal view and the zoom will
be at 100 or 200%. I will make the corrections and save them then, I can go
back to the same documents a few days later and the settings have changed.
Can anybody tell me why this is happening or what is making this happen? I
have been told that this is not a Jaws problem by Freedom Scientific's tech
support and as you all know the zoom setting effects the way Jaws reads. I
am running Xp SP3/Office 2002 home, Jaws 8, 9, & 10 latest. All advice and
information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
