Hi Brian,

Before we move ahead, I will explain why I am wanting to use print view and
75% zoom. I have been told several times by FS tech support that Jaws works
better in Word using these settings. What is the difference in using Print
view versus Normal view? Now, moving ahead.

I definitely don't have a "save all" choice in my file menu. I have save,
save as, and save as web page for my choices. When I open "Customize" these
are my choices on the commands page as I tab, Categories, commands,
description, help, Save in, keyboard, & close. There isn't an arrange
commands choice or anywhere to choose which toolbar to work with unless I'm
supposed to work with the toolbars page in conjunction with the commands
page somehow. Or, am I just not understanding what is going on here? I
will stop here until we find out the differences in the terminology/choices
between 2002 & 2003 Word. Brian, thank you very much for your patience in
trying to pound something new into this thick skull. Take care.

Hello Mike,

The steps below are for adding the "save all" command to the file menu in
Word 2003. I am not sure about Word 2002, but I think it is very similar.

1. Open the tools menu using Alt-T.
2. Use up arrow and press enter on the "Customize" choice.
3. Focus should be in the Commands tab, but if not then switch to the
"commands" page tab of the dialog box.
4. use the tab key to move to categories. Select the "file" choice.
5. use tab key to the "arrange commands" button and press spacebar to bring
up the dialog box.
6. Use tab key to move to a group of radio buttons for choosing whether the
command will be on the toolbar or menu bar. Choose the menu bar.
7. Use tab key to move to the menu Bar combo box and choose file.
8. Use tab key to the "add" button and press spacebar.
9. Choose "file" in the categories list.
10. Use tab key to move to the commands list box and use down arrow until
you find the "save all" choice.
11. Use tab key to move to the OK button and press spacebar.
12. Use tab key to controls list and find the "save all" button.
13. Use tab key to move to the "move up" or "move down" buttons. You can
press the "move down" button a few times and then use shift-tab to move back
to the controls list to find the new location of the "save all" menu choice.
You might decide to use the "move down" button until the choice is right
after the other save choices in the menu.
14. use tab key to the "save in" combo box and choose normal.dot or use down
arrow to choose to save in just the active document. You will probably want
to choose the "normal.dot" choice or you will have to go through the same
process every time you have a document that you want to save the settings
changes in.
15. use tab key to move to either the "OK" button or the "close" button and
press spacebar.

After doing the above steps you should be able to set the zoom and type of
view you want and then use the "save all" choice in the file menu to have
Word retain those settings.

Take care.
