If you want the numbers announced as single digits then open the Excel configuration manager using JAWS key 6. Pres Alt+S to bring up the settings menu and then use down arrow three times to the text processing choice and press the enter key. use tab key four times to the number processing combo box and use down arrow one time to the "single digits" choice. Use tab key to the OK button and press enter key. Use CTRL+S to save and then Alt+F4 to exit the configuration manager.

If you mean that you want to read one digit at a time while moving across a number with the arrow keys then you need to go into edit mode by using function key 2 in Excel.

I am putting my talkingbook topics in a excel spread sheet now is there a way to read one number at a time what I mean when I am in a cell it reads the whole number I want to hear one number at a time to make sure I have put in the info correct. for example lets say we have 7621 I want jaws to just read the indivusial numbers with out reading the whole group of numbers.
