Jim, Would you happen to have Jaws10? If you do, I would uninstall Jaws11 and install Jaws10 and see if this will work better for you. Personally I use Jaws10 latest 99% of the time because of little issues like what you are having and Jaws11 tends to lose focus a lot. It seems that people running XP & Windows7 operating systems are having a lot of the same problems. Take care. Mike
