For JAWS versions earlier than 12, your instructions were certainly correct. In 12, all one had to do is, open the Center; then in the search edit, type enhanced, then tab after the list of results, of which there is 1 (in Microsoft word), and then check the checkbox. OK.

Yes sir, you are most certainly correct.  I screwed up by calling the
settings center the configuration manager but, giving steps for navigating
the settings center.  Take care.

the Settings Center in JAWS12 (instead of the Config manager) makes that
