So the control key with letter D is the only thing that works to delete the message. If the message is not open, then as you note, the delete key or shift delete key work. When I open an E mail message, jaws automatically reads the message. But when I delete the message (using control key plus letter D) and another message opens, it does not read automatically. In quick settings, I have the check box checked for jaws to read messages when opened. Am I using the wrong type of delete key?
