  Well, as I posted earlier, I discovered a work around for the invisible
  check boxes.  I simply click on the View Scan Log button, which brings up
  the scan results in Notepad, including the file paths for each detected
  item.  Then I can simply copy and paste each file path into the Windows 
Find
  command to locate these files and delete them manually.
