Hi Karen. you can import the mp3 files if you have them on your
computer through iRinger, yes. IRinger will convert the files from mp3
to m4r for you.

iRinger is a great little application for Windows that will create
ring tones and then import them in to your iTunes library for you. You
first have to edit the file down, and if you want to use the first 30
seconds of a track, then you don't have to do anything. The program
will take the first 30 seconds of the track and use that as the ring
tone. Ring tones can be a max of 30 seconds. You can find a podcast on
 doing this at:

In all honesty it is beyond my ability at this time, if anybody knows how to
do it please send along the information. Not only will I make use of it but
I will also post it on the server.
