go into view and see what is selected in there, in the older words if you
had other views than normal or page view selected you could get all kinds of
verbiage thrown at you, also there should be a options section in the
ribbons, make sure the show all is not turned on in the view portion of the
options ribbon selection (I am wording it this way since I know that 2003
keystrokes work with the ribbons in most cases, but do not have any office
hire than 2003 so have not the exact knowledge of how to get to things in
the office ribbons)
