even before I share my concern, I would like to express my sorrow about
the loss of blind-computing list. it because of the lack of that list
that i had to think about the appropriateness of posting my question to
this list. Although i have had this concern for a very long time, but it
made me wonder, if it was within the list guidelines or not. Anyway,
guess, I should move to my question now....
I have recently started using the portable version of Thunderbird from
portableapps.com
among a number of options i have configured is the option of not marking
the mails automatically read once a particular mail gets highlighted. as
a result, the mails, don't get marked read on their own. however,
contrary to outlook, live mail & many more other email clients, the
mails don't get marked read even after i open & read them. as a result,
i have to go about marking each read mail as read on my own manually.
any solutions?
