What I am trying to tell you is that when your taskbar buttons are arrange
in a Vertical manner, or in other words it is set to be at the right or left
portion of the screen, typically the right and left arrow navigation won't
work. Double check your taskbar location on screen through the taskbar
properties.

all I know is, like on my pc, when I go to the desktop, atl + m, and then
hit Tab, it always said start, I tab again, and it says taskbar, and I could
either left or right arrow to webpages that were open, or documents that
were open, and the same when I hit the next tab, which has volume, and
clock. I can no longer use the arrows to get to anything

Hello Tom,
Try to see the location of your taskbar. Obviously if it is set to either
right or left the left and right arrow navigation will not work. Go to
taskbar properties and make the necessary changes.

1. Move to taskbar with Windows + T
2. Press the Windows Application key then down arrow to properties,
alternatively, you may tap Alt + tab to move directly to the Taskbar
properties.
3. Tab to Taskbar location on screen combo box and make sure that bottom is
selected.
4. Now Tab to Apply then tab to OK to exit the properties.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] hidden taskbar icons

earlier today, I sent in a question on how to get the taskbar icons back,
but obviously didn't phrase it correctly.
my problem is: when on the taskbar, say start, if you hit the right arrow,
it says an icon, and if you hit the right arrow again, it says another icon.
my laptop no longer does this, and need to find out how to "unhide" the
icons. I use win 7, jaws 12.1. can anyone help me?
