Regarding a better converter, well, the Free YouTube to MP3 converter has 
worked very, very well for me. I have heard that the latest version might 
have some accessibility issues, and if this latest version is the one you 
just uninstalled then this may explain your difficulties. There is a version 
one can use via webpage, but I don't know much more than the fact that this 
option exists. <Smile>.

This is the version I am currently using. Again, be very, very careful to 
uncheck the junkware. If you're interested I can help you install it and 
configure it for best accessibility.
