Hi,

I don't understand your first sentence so please elaborate. <Smile>

Regarding a better converter, well, the Free YouTube to MP3 converter has
worked very, very well for me. I have heard that the latest version might
have some accessibility issues, and if this latest version is the one you
just uninstalled then this may explain your difficulties. There is a version
one can use via webpage, but I don't know much more than the fact that this
option exists. <Smile>.

This is the version I am currently using. Again, be very, very careful to
uncheck the junkware. If you're interested I can help you install it and
configure it for best accessibility.

Feel free to write me off-list for free help with absolutely any computer
related problem!

Hi Randy,

Unfortunately you uninstalled improperly, so at this point who knows what
happened or will happen.

Please reboot the computer and look once again within the c:\Program files
(X86) folder. You're looking for the DVDVidosoft folder and the uninstall
EXE file. At times the reboot will put the installation files where they
belong.

For anyone else reading this thread, please never, absolutely never think
you can properly uninstall an application by simply deleting the Program
files folder. <Smile>. Applications create files and folders all over the
operating system including C:\Users folder and registry, so by deleting the
program files folder you're only removing parts of the application.

i took the thing out by the hairs meaning I went to the programs menu
and deleted the folder. i reinstalled it to see if I could put it
back on. however, in the program files, i don't see that dvd video soft.

Hi Randy,

Yes, at times this application is a bit stubborn to remove, but please
try
the following:
1. In Windows7 go to c:\Programs files (S86) an open the following
folder:
DVDVideoSoft
2. Press enter on the following file:
unins000.exe
Note: you can always press Alt+Enter on this file to review the
Properties
and confirm that it is indeed the correct setup/uninstall file.
3. This will begin the uninstall process so just follow the prompts.

Please let me know if you get a different result. <Smile>.
