I don't know if this will help in your browser; but, in Windows Explorer
view menu press enter on the Address bar to check it. Maybe your toolbars
have been moved (if they were unlocked) in your browser's view menu. If so,
you could chek the toolbars by pressing ENTER on 'lock the toolbars'.
I had to leave Windows XP behind, so I can't aid much more.

When I press F6, the field is empty; there is no address. Something is
really screwed up, or else I pressed some keystroke combination by mistake
and now cannot view the contents of the address bar.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Copy Command Doesn't Work
I don't understand what's going on, but all of a sudden whenI press Alt-A
in IE 8 to place the address of a web page into the address bar and then
press Control-C to copy it to the clipboard, JAWS announces "copy line"
instead of "copy selected text to clipboard", and I can apparently no
longer copy web addresses to the clipboard. How can I fix this problem
and restore the normal copy function? Thanks.
Gerald
