Select the entire line that you want to delete, hit your applications key,
down-arrow to delete and press enter.

Hi

I find the easiest way to insert a new line into a spread sheet is to
position the cursor on the first line below where I want the new line to be.
Then press alt+I, let those up and press r.  Then I will be positioned on
the new line.
