The only thing that will happen as a result of your reservation, is that the installation file will be downloaded to your computer. yYou have complete control of when, where, and how you choose to install the OS or not. It will not automatically be installed onto your computer. If you should decide that you do not want Win 10 at all, then simply delete the installation file from your downloads folder.

I believe from the get windows 10 notification you open the icon by clicking
it then scroll down to check my status or something click that and you will
go to a webpage that says this computer has reserved a free copy of windows
10
if you scroll down I think there will be a link cancel my reservation.  I
don't know, try it an find out!
