Hi Debbie,
Do you still have your old machine, and is it in working order?
If so, e-backup would be the easiest way to setup Outlook Express on your
new machine, so it will be just as you left it on the old machine.
If this is the case, let me know, and I'll be glad to help you make the
transition.
Ricque

Subject: [jaws-users] Importing Outlook Express folders

Hello all,

I recently received my new computer and I'm transferring files and folders
from my Thumb Drive to my computer.

I'm having some trouble importing my Outlook Express folders from my Thumb
Drive to my computer; I want it to be just like it was on my old desktop.

Here's what I've done so far: Opened up Outlook Express, went to the files
menu, arrowed down to import submenu, entered on other address book. When I
entered on other address book, arrowed down to text files (comma separated
values), tab to the import button, and pressed enter. It says, "Choose the
file to import" and then there is an edit field. I tabbed to the browse
button, entered, arrowed to the removable disc and selected what I wanted.
I tabbed to the open button and it didn't do anything.

A friend of mine read these instructions on Microsoft's website and he
shared them with me.

If anyone knows a better way, would you please let me know.

I thank you in advance.
