|native libraries as in native.dll or libnative.so are only deployed if they |are found inside a jar-format package that is being unpacked.
Yes, ok, I think this is one of the most interesting features proposed by Jason in the very beginning. I was looking at this deal where the management layers were written in Java or .NET. People really didn't see the advantage of the J2EE solution and were pushing .NET like crazy (cause the cheap indian dev there were using knew microsoft tools better). My read of the situation was "j2ee might lose there" and the need for a "silver bullet" solution like this one (management layer in Java, native libs in whatever) became more and more apparent. no one can match this. I know we can download stuff to the machines today, but do we really take care of the installation of native libs correctly? in the right place? how does this work? I am really ignorant of the way native libraries are installed on target systems. We can take care of everything else though :) marcf _______________________________________________ Jboss-development mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-development
