That's definitely the idea. :-) Why go "oh, it's a big client so we do
J2EE" and "oh, it's a small client so we do ColdFusion". Should be able
to do J2EE all the time methinks :-) Some people say "oh, but we don't
need EJB, it's too much overhead". But then they're missing the point
IMO. I've done a bunch of ColdFusion apps for small/midsize clients, and
they all end up in a mess, even if you're careful (replace ColdFusion
with ASP, CGI/Perl, or whatever similar tech.). To me, J2EE is the best
way so far to get control over my apps, and to have a nice maintainable
design.
