Ok while we appreciate the praise (you know we do), I would like to draw
your attention to the "scope" of jboss.
We believe catering to the mid-market is a "full time" thing. In clear our
software is a reflection of what you guys want in it and that doesn't mean
"2 phi commit distributed databases" right now... we integrate as needed.
So there will always be a weblogic for the fortune 1000 that does it right
for "schwab" (sp?) I would rather do it right for "liquidwit" et al. In
clear, there will always be different focuses and markets Fortune
1000/Fortune 1billion.
AND THEN, we are more adapted to that market, or at least we try to be.
With ease of use, low price, fast turnover, high quality, **technological
innovation** and "more than good enough" approach to problem solving in the
J2EE.
regards
marc

||Hi!
||
||Our company is using WebLogic server at the moment.
||I have started to look for some cheaper alternatives some
||time ago and so I found my way to jBoss.
||I must say I am very impressed! The installation is very easy
||and so the handling.
||The only drawback is the documentation and the somewhat
||confusing website.
|
|we are redoing the website from scratch as we speak...
|
|let's go "big-time"
|
|marc
|
||For example it was not easy to find out how to make
||use of self added datasources in the EJBs (you have to modifiy
||jboss.xml in the right way).
||Nevertheless jBoss is a great product and I want to thank
||the jBoss team for this! Please keep your work going on! :-)
||
||Yours,
||Lars
