Yes, jBoss is the easiest to use that I have found so far.  I have used
WebLogic, Enhydra, and GemstoneJ.  jBoss is definitely easier to use than any
of these.  The documentation seems to be improving.  There is definitely more
documentation with jBoss than I found with Enhydra.  Have you looked at
http://www.jboss.org/getting_startedJB2.htm?  It took me a while to find this.
The jBoss web site could be a bit better organized.
