If the collapsed/minimized form of the build step config was made pluggable (ex a collapsed.jelly next to config.jelly) the the readability of the overview could maybe be improved, for example a read only view of the first two lines of the execute shell step, the git url for the scm, the include path of the unit test collection etc. Or would that have a risk of cluttering too much? Perhaps could be mitigated with good style guides/default css?
