Dear Friend,

We must always keep in mind how special the women that are in our lives really
are. We are to honor, love and respect our mothers, sisters and wives and show
our appreciation for all that they do for us. We should not honor the women in
our lives only because it is the right thing to do, but also because it is the
command of the Lord. God Almighty has commanded us to honor our mothers and
fathers. We must also love and respect our wives as we are commanded to in
Ephesians 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the
church, and gave Himself for it." (Exodus 20:12)

God has blessed us with great women in our lives and we need to acknowledge
them and be thankful that God has given them to us. It is easy to go through
life on autopilot and not pay special attention to the works and acts of love
that women show each day that we are alive because they are so graceful and
light in their works, but nevertheless we must acknowledge
them and be grateful for all that they do. (Proverbs 18:22) (Proverbs 31:28)

I hope you are encouraged by today's message to pay tribute to the women that
are in your life and show them by your acts of praise and love how special and
important they are to you.

THE CREATION OF WOMAN
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I
created man I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you, woman, I
fashioned. I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too
delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and
perfectly fashion you. Man was put to sleep so that he
could not interfere with my creativity.

>From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's life.
I chose the strong yet delicate rib which protects his heart and lungs and
supports him, as you are meant to do. Your characteristics are as the rib:
strong, yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate
organs in man, his heart and lungs. His heart is the center of his whole being;
his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken
before it will allow damage to his heart and lungs.
Support him as the rib cage supports the body.

Around this one bone I fashioned you. I shaped you. I created you perfect.
Your eyes are the windows to your soul; your lips are so lovely when they part
in prayer; your nose is so perfect in form; your hands are so gentle to touch.
Oh yes, I've touched your hands, I've held your heart. Of all that lives and
breathes you are the most like Me. That is why I made you the mother of life.
You see, woman, you reside in Me.

Adam walked with Me in the cool of the day and yet he was lonely. He could not
see Me, or touch Me. He could only feel Me. So everything I wanted Adam to
share and experience with Me I fashioned in you. My holiness, My strength, My
purity, My love, and support, My protection. You are special because you are
the extension of Me.

Man represents my image; woman, my emotions. Together you represent the
totality of God. So man, treat woman well. Love her and respect her, for she is
fragile. In hurting her you hurt Me. What you do to her, you do to Me. In
crushing her, you only damage your own heart and lungs. Woman, support man as
the rib cage. In humility show him the power of emotion I
have given to you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love show him
that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Colossians 3:18-22 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is
fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the
Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the
flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing
God."

Proverbs 31:10-12 "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above
rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall
have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her
life."

Romans 12:9-12 "Let love be without dissimulation.  Abhor that which is evil;
cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with
brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business;
fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation;
continuing instant in prayer."

Proverbs 31:26-31 "She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the
law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not
the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her
husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but
thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman
that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her
hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."

Dear Friend,

There many Bible believing Christians in the world that have been redeemed,
sanctified and changed from the inside out, but still they are not sure of
their role as a child of God. What we must always keep in mind is that the
believer is always going to be in the midst of change. As believers in Christ,
there will never be a moment where we have finally "arrived". The Bible says
that God changes us from glory to glory. The Lord is constantly working in our
lives to better us in the areas of our weakness and leading us on to the path
that He wishes for us to travel on and learn from.
(2 Corinthians 4:11-18) (Psalm 27:7-14) (Isaiah 30:21) (2 Corinthians 3:18)

We must never think that God cannot use us for His eternal purposes. The Lord
can use even the smallest vessels to impact our world where change is promised
to come. If you are unsure of your role concerning the things of God, I want
you to be encouraged and know that God can and will do great things through
each of us if we only surrender our will and allow God to lead and guide us as
He sees fit. (2 Thessalonians 3:3-5) (Proverbs 3:5-6)

I hope you are both encouraged and inspired by today's message to see that you
are never stagnant in your Christian walk, but in a constant change for your
betterment and usefulness towards the kingdom of God.

NOT HOPELESS

Carla stirred Jell-O into boiling water, added cold water, and put the bowl
with the watery mixture in the refrigerator to set. "Didn't Dana ask you to
come over to play this afternoon?" asked Mother after Carla had finished
washing the dishes.

Carla shrugged. "Yeah," she said, "but I don't feel like playing with her. I'm
beginning to think she's hopeless. She always wants her own way, and she says
mean things about other kids--stuff like that."
"Hm-m-m-m. That's too bad," said Mother. "Well, maybe it's time to check your
Jell-O."
Carla went to the refrigerator. "It's getting there," she said. "It's ready for
the fruit." She added apples and bananas to the Jell-O while she continued to
complain about Dana.
"Tell me something," said Mother. "Dana became a Christian just recently. Has
she improved at all since then?"
"Oh, sure." Carla nodded. "She used to be just awful--nobody liked her. Now
she's not as bad, but she still has a long way to go."
"Like the Jell-O," said Mother.
"The Jell-O?" repeated Carla. "What do you mean?"

"The Jell-O has improved since you started it, but it has a long way to go,
too," explained Mother. "It isn't hopeless, though. In time it will be set and
ready to eat. It reminds me that Christians don't usually 'set' all at once,
either. It takes time. As Christians grow in the Lord, they improve in outward
behavior. We need to be patient with them."

"Maybe we can add some 'fruit' to help them." Carla was enjoying the
comparison. "Like...we can pray for them, and we can be friendly."

"Good," approved Mother, "and let's remember that you and I aren't finished
yet, either. Let's grow together."

Be encouraged to cheer on the faithfulness of others who are growing in their
Christian walk and you stand firm and know that God is transitioning you in
your walk with Him.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Hebrews 10:22-24 "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without
wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another
to provoke unto love and to good works."

Romans 12:1-2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that
ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is
your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good,
and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Psalm 31:2-5 "Bow down Thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be Thou my strong
rock, for an house of defence to save me. For Thou art my rock and my
fortress; therefore for Thy Name's sake lead me, and guide me. Pull me out of
the net that they have laid privily for me: for Thou art my strength. Into
Thine hand I commit my spirit: Thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth."

Psalm 37:23-25 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and He
delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for
the LORD upholdeth him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet
have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
