i think i can clear a few of these queries.....

the web server has something called "virtual directories" for example ...
this is how i access my own webserver
http://myhost.in/
this brings up the apache index.html page .... but this physically resides
in d:\Apache\htdocs .. so this particular directory is mapped to "/" ...
suppose u want to access a doc by http://myhost.in/doc/arbit.html place it
in d:\Apache\htdocs\docs\ .... like this in the httpd.conf file u can map
your url with any directory...... this i think is what they mean by 'under
your webserver' .... to make it visible to your http server....

yep .. at least that what i do ..... otherwise if all your class files are
in a directory u include only the directory .... jar files are basically
the class files packaged under a common umbrella for easy access.....

%JAKARTAHOME%\conf.. its this file i think .....
