Pam,

Hi! As for the plunger I know how you feel, but we often have to use ours more, expecially when it rains and the septic tank acts up-Anyhow I have mine in one of those small waste baskets that are designer (mine is Dolphins & my sons bathroom is Blues Clues) it takes the attention away from the plunger and it doesn't look so gross, LOL!!! Also I used to have a ceramic toilet brush holder that had a wide space in it and I used to put the plunger in there(untill I was cleaning one day and set it to close to the edge of the tub :(  ) And with the storage in the bathroom I have had that problem since day one-We have a double vanity but no undercabinet-at all. So I got froggy and took down the falling down cabinet above the toilet and replaced it with white wire shelves, looks nice but not when to full of junk, So I decluttered and kept only that, that I absolutely need or use and got those little plastic storage boxes with different color lids(blue-babys/white is mine a! nd green is hubby's) they have short and long ones and you can get them at family dollar/dollar general for around $1-$3 dollars for a set (depends on size)
Anyhow it looks soooo much more tidy over the toilet and I also have room for an extra roll of TP :) The key is to keep those containers cleared out at least every couple months, and limit yourself to only to a certain number per person.
Another thing I did was to get the shampoo/soap/conditioner holders-We have 2 because me and my hubby are allergic to different kinds of soaps and he has naturally curly hair and mine is color treated, But it looks a lot better then tons of bottles and the only ones I do have is 2 and they are my sons baby shampoos (but they are decorative) I do hope this helps-I had seen the shelf idea on an episode of Changing Rooms-I love that show, it comes on like 2/3 times a day on BBC/AM television.
A must see :) My personal favorite is Lawrence-He's a doll :)
Let me know how it all goes.
