T *** Here's the explanation: North Americans refer to the toilet as "the bathroom" even if it's a stand-alone toilet, without basin and bathtub. I've even heard a North American exclaim that a dog had "gone to the bathroom" on her porch. I harbour no bitter resentment toward, or hatred for, people who use the expression. I just find it quaint, is all. --------------------------------------------- This message was sent using World Mail. http://www.worldonline.co.za *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Journey from clutter List Website http://journeyfromclutter.com Members Only Page http://journeyfromclutter.com/MembersOnly/MembersArea.htm Unsubscribe: email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word 'unsubscribe' in the 'Subject:' field to be removed from the main list.
