Brothers and sisters,

We have to stop building shrines around our children's teeth, late
grandpappies' trusses, and departed dogs' wooden legs!

We have nothing if not the future, and, if we set forth with sacks of
buttons, bags of magazines, and boxes of false teeth, we will weigh
ourselves down, tire ourselves out and fall far short of our goals.

Brothers and sisters, the time has come to unburden ourselves; to run like
naked sprites in the woods; untethered and unbound. We need to feel the
lightness and nimbleness of our unadorned bodies as we leap and frolic in
freedom's breeze. We need to realise that all that we are is encapsulated in
the earthly frames we call our bodies. All the other bits and pieces are
called BAGGAGE, and baggage has never set anybody free.

Shake loose the heavy shackles that bind, brothers and sisters. Cast off
that heavy coat and let the sun caress your contours. Drop those suitcases
and rake your fingers through grass and leaves; through someone's hair.
Trail them through water. Put down those chests and boxes, stretch out your
tired fingers and strum the strings of guitar; kneed a wet ball of clay.

But most importantly, use your hands and arms as instruments of love. Hug,
embrace and caress, for this is the true purpose of your arms and hands; not
as hooks for luggage. When your time on this earth is over, your children
won't remember your accumulated garbage - let them remember the warm imprint
of your arms enfolded around them.
