>>> Well, Tat - Obviously you belong here... And I was wondering the same
thing myself. We should take a poll - how many of us keep all of our kids
baby teeth - and what on earth are we planning to do with them? It never
occured to me that I
might get rid of them, but I do usually store them in a drawer rather than
keep them on the windowsill indefinitely. I guess putting them away just
hasn't made it to the top of the list yet - but I'll try to remember to do
that today. (How old is your son?)

*** Hi Diane,

My son's 12, and teetering on the verge of teendom. It's just that the
self-extraction routine that he staged (possibly overdramatised for my
benefit), looked so heroic, that to throw away the tooth seemed ignoble.

I joked about the "tooth fairy" rewarding him - and I would've given him a
few bucks, but he left for the coast sooner than originally planned, and the
tooth stayed, with the bounty not yet claimed.

People have warned me that, when Justin becomes a teenager, he'll suddenly
know everything. Not true. My boy's known everything since he was seven...
