It's a good thought, but it's a little more complicated than that.

When SBR is in setup mode it advertises a temporary ad-hoc network.
The code in SBC sets scans for that network, then temporarily
associates with it, then sends over the configuration information.

The desktop version of the SBC software would need to be modified to
manage the PCs wireless network (hard on windows and mac, probably
easier on Linux) OR it could be modified to accept wireless settings
without any wireless config and send them to an ethernet connected SBR.

Robin Bowes has been working on a SC plugin to do the latter. You
plug your SBR into ethernet, fill out a form in the SC web interface
and click to configure the SBR. About as complicated as setting up a
wireless router from a web UI. This likely won't be an officially
supported (as in "tech support, how can I help you?") setup mode, but
it should work just fine.
