Indeed. But it should also be remembered that MAC address filtering provides *no* useful security whatsoever. It is worthless. Don't bother with it.
Why? Because the MAC address of the transmitting and receiving station is transmitted in the clear in every frame. It can be sniffed off the air and trivially spoofed. Wireless security is based on *encryption* and *authentication*. Use the best that is common to all devices on your network, WPA-PSK with AES (best), WPA-PSK with TKIP (next best) or WEP (last). Do not bother with bogus so-called 'security' features such as SSID 'hiding' or MAC address filtering - neither of these offer any protection, give a false sense of security, and cause more problems than they are worth.
