Yes, I set mine up using the existing Jive Handset (which already is at the latest FW) and it was absolutely pain-free. No security on the wireless though, so maybe that would have made it slightly harder.
Getting the new Controller working was slightly more challenging as it had great difficulty finding the DHCP server until I went and stood next to the WAP. Once they ship with the latest FW, I'm confident it will be easy.
