Hi,

For me jMeter is a wonderful and very useful project. There should be an open
source tool which such capabilities as jMeter has. I agree with Mike Stover
that people generally improve jMeter and implement features that they need
when doing some tests and then then usually go away. And I think it's natural
for this kind of project because there are only few people doing performance
tests as only task in their job.

And this is just my case - when testing I did some improvements which I didn't
commit because they needed polishing. But now I'm not testing anything and
priority of this task has lowered. However I didn't stop my work on jMeter
and still I want to contribute.

Perhaps 'sourceforging' or 'savanning' :-) this project is a good idea,
because it'll add some dynamics to management. On the other side being an
apache project has some kind of prestige I think.

best regards
Michal Kostrzewa
